Grazing Training

Join New Hampshire Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), in partnership with the Strafford and Rockingham County Conservation District, for a FREE 3.5-day grazing course! Come and learn all about grazing management, and  develop an individualized grazing plan for your farm!

Who should attend:
Farmers who are grazing ruminant livestock and want to do a better job managing the pasture as a feed source. The course will also help you to obtain a grazing plan, which is a prerequisite for applying for financial assistance for some projects under the EQIP Program. The intended goal is for each farm to develop a grazing plan by the end of the course. Farms of all sizes are   welcome to attend this course! Farms with an existing grazing plan can also attend to learn more about their current plan and/or update the plan.

Instructed by:
Daimon Meeh, NRCS Grazing Specialist,
with assistance from NRCS Epping Field Staff.
